Familial Lysentripase Hypersensitivity Syndrome
(Redirected from Familial Lysentripase Hypersensitivity)
A hormonal irregularity, believed to be genetic, in which the body produces a slightly different form of a hormone. This acts like the regular version in every way, but reacts much more strongly with lysentripase drugs. This means that any exposure to lysentripases will have a much more profound effect for these people. For example, lysentripase crystals placed on the skin will cause localised numbness and muscle weakness as they dissolve in sweat.
Most common effects:
- Wearing diapers containing lysentripase (such as Girlzz Superior and Babij can numb the diaper area and pelvic floor muscles within about an hour; causing bedwetting. After wetting, the dose absorbed will be much higher, causing persistent bedwetting for up to 3 weeks.
- LVX has a much more powerful numbing effect, and can be used as a local anaesthetic.
- Boys with hypersensitivity may still be affected by lysentripases (which normally only work on girls), although with less pronounced mental effects
