Abraham's Wood
The neighbourhood where Oswyn lives in Unexpected Daddy.
It's a pretty rich area. The houses are detached or semi-detached, with gardens around them separated by different fences and hedges. It's easy for a burglar because a lot of the properties have places where it's possible to duck out of sight from the neighbours and approach unseen; as well as containing more stuff than the owners really need for their lives.
The development is built on multiple levels. There are split-level homes, banks leading up or down to gardens from the road, gardens with terraces or steep steps, and footpaths and cycleways on different levels from the roadway. This means that there are a lot of dead ends, and the layout isn't regular, as well as providing quite a number of raised walkways or footbridges.
Abraham's Wood has a small station, which is on the Abraham's Green Freight Railway, and forms one terminus of the Ashfields Sprinter commuter service to Greater Ashfields.
