A music student at Moistville University, and friend of Dean Carter. He was approached by Dean when the members of Franklin's Understudy were looking for a piper to join their tribute band. He said that he hadn't heard of Franklin's Muse, but was willing to learn, and quickly found that he had heard more than a few of their songs on the radio before. In the first few months of the tribute band's existence, he listened to everything they ever played as well as the subsequent performances of all the original band's members.
He initially played Warren Kriegheimer's parts on the bagpipes, and subsequently taught himself to play the rock clarinet. He has said that he intends to learn all of the instruments that Kriegheimer played on various tracks. He has also played the glockenspiel for the band, as nobody else could cover Gullielm Fulmini's part on Cradle of Sacred Dreams.
After college, he was a flatmate of Dean Carter; though little is known about their friendship.
