Nurserywave
A fashion brand arising from the Cutecore trend, which saw students and young adults dressing in excessively cute, childish styles. Nurserywave was originally an independent fashion line envisioned as a fusion of Cutecore and punk aesthetics. However, they managed to use some initial success (and promotion from influencers as famous as Ravebaby and Captain Jennykins) to launch a successful company.
They also, somehow, managed to trademark their distinctive style; carving out a little monopoly on punk-baby themed attire; and then began licensing this style to makers of furniture, crockery, home decorations, and even diapers.
