New Experiences/John Gold Spankless

John Gold Spankless, Spanky to his friends, is an anthro fox. At the time of his first appearance in New Expriences, he is 22 years old and starting to get bored with life. He's tried everything, and enjoyed things enough to keep on doing them, but hasn't found anything that actually matters to him. His dad told him "there's a time and a place for everything", and he decided that time is right now.

He is at college, currently studying for a degree in fine art.

Relationships

Spanky has a few friends at uni, but nobody he gets on with particularly well. He knows how to have fun at a party, how to be popular, but often it seems like he's going through the motions. Friends mentioned so far include Marco (rat) and Francis.

He has loving parents, who are giving him some freedom to live how he wants now he's in college. The family's wealth comes from the royalties on the Spankless Education and Disciplinary Scheme, a marvel of modern child psychology invented by his great-grandfather Peter Ward Spankless. The family was incredibly rich thanks to this, but now the inheritance is being split more than thirty ways (several of the heirs having quite a number of cubs) so each family group now is just reasonably well off.

He also has had quite a lot of girlfriends. He has kind of treated them like a status symbol; it's a challenge to himself to see how many girls he can date. He enjoys spending time with them, but he knows that it never bothers him that much when they leave, or when he gets tired of them. It's never been a serious attachment.

His current partners are:

• Lulu - pink cat (but she told him she's a leopard, and he never questioned it)
• Metamorpheus - "Master". Online only; species/gender unknown,

Hypnosis

Metamorpheus has given Spanky quite a few triggers; some of them temporary but others last a little longer.

• "[···]" - On the messenger app he uses to communicate with Master, this is an indicator to let him know the other person is typing. The dots bob up and down one by one. Once he sees it he focuses, mesmerised, unable to think of anything but anticipation of obeying the message.
• "You are about to…" - simple command trigger for an immediate action
• "Good boy" - gives a wave of pleasure
• Truth - When Master asks a direct question, Spanky always answers honestly, regardless of his intentions
• Yoyo - Spanky has a special yoyo with spirals on the sides. When someone plays with it, he immediately focuses on trying to count the concentric spirals, becoming unaware of anything else going on around him; and unthinkingly obeys any instructions he's given while in that state. It seems like a kind of half trance, although he wakes up automatically when the yoyo goes out of sight.
• Yoyo 2 - Dawn has a similar yoyo of her own. If Spanky uses it to give her a posthypnotic suggestion without first getting permission from Master or Lulu, he will empty his bowels immediately afterwards.
• Sympathy - Set by one of his girlfriends in The Other Side. Need to check which. While they are both regressed, if Dawn uses her diaper Spanky will immediately do the same.
• Are you okay - Because he's often reluctant to admit that he's enjoying embarrassment, Paper gave Spanky a conditioned response. If he's in diapers and is enjoying his current situation, being asked if he's okay will make him wet himself.
• Combination - all of his baby supplies are now kept in a cupboard under his desk, so they don't get lost. But to stop him getting too curious, he can only remember the combination if someone else tells him to open it.

Presents

Gifts from Master, many of which have a hypnotic trigger on them. He also has quite a number of presents still in gacha balls, which he doesn't know the effects of. If he opens one, it will kick in; or if his girlfriends give him one. He always has one of them out of the cupboard, so if he wants to experiment he can, but he'd have to tell the girls what happened before he's allowed to get another.

• Pacifier - makes him unable to remove it. The rubber bit is large enough to fill his mouth and completely silence him.
• Bib - green plastic scoop bib, with rigid bits that dig into his collarbone and restrict the movement of his hands when he's wearing it. It has a lockable collar, and little slits on the top positioned so that it can be tied to his pacifier with ribbons, completely immobilising his head.
• Tail twister - A S&M toy which Lulu bought; the ads claim that it was invented by the military as an interrogation tool. Has steel jaws, and can be slowly tightened.
• Yoyo - yellow, with two spirals going in opposite directions. See above.
• Alphabet blocks - Make him unable to spell. He tries, but can never keep track of the letters he needs.

Baby Clothes

• Shortalls; cotton with a denim-look texture printed on, and a rocket on the pocket. When in a little headspace he thinks of it as a space suit, and the rocket is his mission badge.
