My Cousin's Keeper/Stanley Marster
Tess's older brother in My Cousin's Keeper.
He was born Tansy Naylor; but took the surname of his fiancé as soon as he was legally able to change it in the country they were in at the time. He went to a boarding school for a two-year preparation between high school and university (not such a rare thing in that culture), so left home at quite a young age. He visited somewhat regularly until his parents John and Trish left the country, and since then has only seen his family at Christmas. He is a year or two older than Tess, and has recently started at university.
Stanley isn't currently in a relationship; his engagement ended when they realised they were rushing into things and he still needed to really find himself before he could consider committing to a life with someone else. They are still on good terms, just realise that making big plans was a stress neither of them needed.
