FictionLibrary (or Fiction Library) is a website which allows users to share their original fiction. Most of the content is posted for free, although there are a few paid stories added by users. The authors of paid stories are required to commit to a regular upload schedule, and paid stories automatically become free when their popularity drops over time. (By default, a paid story becomes free at a rate of one chapter per month after it is completed; but this can be postponed as long as it's still getting sufficient paying readers).

The site's main selling point is an incredibly detailed tagging system, which allows sophisticated searches, including searches for particular tropes featuring a specific character archetype. This system was originally written for sister site FanLibrary, which deals with fan fiction, but is also incredibly popular on FetishLibrary.

The three sites run on the same engine, and accounts from one work on all of them; they just have different styling. The only actual difference is in the default search parameters. Stories posted on FetishLibrary, for example, are tagged as explicit unless the author specifically opts out, and will therefore not be discovered by browsing on the other sites unless the user disables the default content filters. Searches on FanLibrary only find fanfiction unless a keyword is added to change this behaviour; but users can still use it to read stories that they have followed on one of the other sites.

FictionLibrary is mentioned a few times, most often by Lindy in My Sister's Problem, who uses the automatic text-to-speech feature to read stories to her in a quiet, soothing voice to help her sleep.
