It seems that most fans assume they are the gender of the character that fan most associates them with. Fans who know Jace for a male role often fail to recognise them playing a woman, and vice versa. Despite being an enby icon among those who know the truth, Emlyn's only enby role so far has been as immortal (and arguably incorporeal) shapeshifter Jace Malarkey in the movie Striker.
