A character in My Sister's Problem.
She is a stern single mother, and tries to be both fair and understanding to her daughters Sally and Linda. She is sad to see them grow up, as she misses the days when they were just little kids. So she is inclined to baby them a little when they start wetting the bed, justifying it to herself by speculating that a little more support to make them feel loved might help. She won't be too upset if she discovers the truth, but this is a hard thing to admit.
